Called Tues afternoon to schedule a new car insurance inspection. Brought car in Wed morning--was in and out in under 10 minutes. Would recommend this level of service to anybody. Full disclosure--I've worked in an auto dealership for 42 yrs so I know what a BAD service experience can be. This was very refreshing.Thanks to all at Total Automotive.

I went in for an oil change and was told about a new service my car needed. None of my past cars needed this service and I was taken aback by sticker shock. Both Tom and Chris took extra time and care to explain to me why the service was needed and what it accomplished. All my follow-up questions were answered thoroughly. After the explanation, I felt very confident about getting the service done to properly protect my investment. Really friendly staff, was very quick with my inspection. However they were quick to fail it too. The quote they gave me to fix it was astronomical and Chris had even suggested that it might not be worth it to invest in an older car. I brought that quote to another mechanic who was able to cut their price by 65%! I brought the car back to be reinspected and they claimed once again that it was still broken. Then I was failed for a bunch of other small things that I had passed for just weeks prior. Brought it to another place and it passed. I'm not suggesting that they failed me because I didn't get it serviced there, but I will not be bringing it there anymore when I can get a more honest opinion down the street.
